So with the honeymoon period over and onto year two of the SPS run British Cyclings National Points Series. It was an almost unanimous decision that 2007 was a major step forward over previous years; only time will tell if Si Paton and Steve Parr are able to continue the momentum. The signs however look good, with new high profile sponsors in place, more riding time throughout the weekend and an awesome looking track in the shortest name place in the U.K: Ae.

This weekend at Ae Forest in Dumfries will see 300 of the Worlds top riders descend down one of Scotland's best Downhill Race Tracks at the MSC / Descent-Gear NPS. Round One of the National Points Series for Downhill will all kick off this Saturday.
