Guys,

First things first, POD is all about the photo and the inspiration to ride. POD is nothing to do with the personality of the riding subjects, all these personal attacks reminds me of a great saying my grandmother used to say, "No one ever kicks a dead dog". Look it up guys..

Secondly, yes the photographer tilted the camera, thats crystal clear to see to anyone with a brain.

Now if you ever work hard enough and make the right contacts you too can get on companies flow lists. They send you loads of nice swag but of course it's not for free. They want you to get it out here in the mags and on the webites. That is exactly what Doddy does for a living, it's his job.

Last but not least, to the untrained eye like mine it's an eye catching shot and thats why I guess the Pinktaco crew chose it as POD.

Cheers.

Yes, thanks to the guys at Alpine Bikes at Innerleithen in Scotland. You may well have read the story here on Pinkbike regards Benji's Dad dieing whilst marshalling at the Alpine Bikes Winter Series race.

Benji was up in Innerleithen again with us for rd 2, helping tape out the course. We popped over to Alpine Bikes and they gave him this IronHorse Sunday as a surprise! He'll be riding it this weekend.

Hats off to Alpine Bikes..

Cheers.

Thevish,

Your the best dad ever! I just sent this to my girlfriend and told her when we have kids, she's going to work. I'll be staying in and looking after the kids..

Your an inspriation to us all, as they say on Pinkbike, "Share the ride", you sir are doing exactly that.

Your a legend.

Mikestp,

Correct! I just gave you one "prop" as it is not supposed to be a brand new BMW M5.
Also please learn to spell the word "Piece" correctly and use proper English when conversing. Sentences should start with a capital and finish with a full stop.

Cheers.

Spoiled,

Yeah thanks again for looking after me in true Canadian style. You stayed with me whilst I emptied my yellow scramble egg style stomach lining onto the petrol forecourt.. You had a plane to catch and you could of left me to die there and then.

Very much appreciated.

Guys,

Jimmy Pratt don't need photo shopping unlike you lot. This photo is 100% real and you would know that if you weren't all sat behind keyboards and actually busted the trails sometime.
Remember, "Nobody ever kicks a dead dog".

Glad you all likes the snap!
I showed this pic to the Pink Taco crew whilst staying in their room at the Venetian (that was my white ass)!! I told Tyler it was my favourite racing shot of all time..

Yeah the guy got up, dusted himself down and carried on, we British are tough as nails. Unlike a British Premiership Footballer who would still be rolling around on the deck awaiting the magical cold and wet sponge.

Ian Linton takes loads of great photos at the National Races as well as the SDA series, he's definately the best..

Cheers.

That's Ben Cathro onboard the Q-Bike Empire as stated. The course is Innerleithen and rd 5 and final of the Chain reaction Cycles NPS that i run. The guy is green is Stu Thomson, ex Giant DH Pro and Scotlands fastest dude for quite a while. He now runs MTBcut.tv.

Most riders opted to ride around that jump as there was a 8ft high rock step down before it into a huge chute that catapulted you at 30mph+ towards this ski jump. Without braking you'd be flying in excess of 40ft along and way too many down!!

POD is all about inspiration, making you want to switch your computer off and go ride your bike. No matter how old or young you are, what terrain you have outside of your door or what you ride, nail or dream machine.

All the negative comments above make those that wrote them look like complete idiots. You obviously aren't real bikers which is good for the rest of us as this means you are busy tapping these keys instead of busting the trails.

Hence when I go out for a ride now, you won't be in my way, creating braking bumps, holding up the lines and casing the jumps. Therefore please keep on tapping away negatively and out of the way of the rest of us here.
